Concordia Bootcamps: DevOps Career Path & Modern Deployment Pipelines

Featured instructor webinar and career panel for Concordia Bootcamps (Journey Education) introducing full-stack students to CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps engineering careers.

While serving as an instructor at Concordia University's coding bootcamp in Montreal alongside my enterprise DevOps consulting work at flare.build, I hosted a dedicated webinar for students and alumni titled "What Is DevOps & The DevOps Career Path." Most bootcamp graduates learn how to build a React and Node.js app on localhost, but hit a wall when they enter an engineering team that relies on Docker containers, automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud observability.

Using my slide deck and real-world deployment examples from telecom and fintech clients, I broke down how modern software moves safely from a Git commit to production, and mapped out the concrete skills junior developers need to grow into DevOps, site reliability, and platform engineering roles.
