Mahidol University (Faculty of ICT): Modern Systems & AI Integration with Rust
Academic seminar and panel with Andy Weng of MagicBlock at Mahidol University's Faculty of ICT exploring high-performance Rust engineering, onchain AI integration, and global engineering careers.
Hosted by the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University's Salaya campus, this academic seminar brought together computer science faculty and undergraduate engineers to explore why Rust has become the foundational language for both high-throughput distributed systems and modern AI infrastructure.
Following the hands-on Rust and Solana Playground technical modules led by Katopz, I joined a panel with Andy Weng from MagicBlock and Tommy Nguyen from Superteam Canada on Building the Future of Solana in Thailand. We shared practical advice on how students in Southeast Asia can contribute to open-source systems and launch global engineering careers. The faculty's news recap of the day is the primary link.
